100 Colorado Centennial Edition pickup trucks produced for Fiji to celebrate 100 years of Chevrolet Trucks

One hundred years after the start of sales of Chevrolet’s first truck, the 1918 One-Ton, Vision Motors is kick starting sales of its new icon, the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado Centennial Edition.

The 2018 Colorado Centennial Edition is part of the celebration of the American brand, which has produced classic trucks such as the 1958 Apache 3100 Series, 1988 C/K1500 and Colorado High Country STORM– revolutionizing the perception of trucks.

Based on the award-winning 2018 Colorado High Country and LTZ models, the 2018 Colorado Centennial Edition marries tough design with rugged performance. It features segment-leading technology and connectivity, including the latest-generation Chevrolet MyLink recognition system.

The 2018 Colorado Centennial Edition is powered by a 2.8L Duramax four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. It celebrates Chevrolet’s truck heritage and is inspired by different generations of Chevrolet Trucks. Each iconic truck features its own vehicle build number displayed as a badge on the inside of its door, a heritage bowtie, a 100-year Chevrolet badge, unique hood decals, 18-inch black wheels, a bedliner and a fender flare.

With a Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT), the 2018 Colorado Centennial Edition produces 147 kW (200 PS) of power at 3,600 rpm and 500 Nm of torque at a low 2,000 rpm.

The Duramax engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that allows the driver to shift from automatic to manual mode.

To celebrate, a total of 8 variants of Colorado are now available for customers to view and test drive with price starting at just F$66,800.00.
