AK Transport becomes Pakistan's first logistics company to operate on the CPEC route

First to go global, the company hosted an event in Lahore to launch 13 different companies.

The company hosted an event at the Expo Centre, Lahore on 29th of November, 2019 wherein 13 companies were launched.

His Excellency Mr. Nabil Touati, the ambassador of the Netherlands was the chief guest at the event.

The main highlight of the event was that AK Transport became the first ever company in the world to become operational on the famous CPEC route.

On the CPEC route, 7857 containers a day would be dispatched by China for Europe and Africa. This will help reduce shipment time by 10 days and 3500 nautical miles of sea travel.

Senior representatives from different leading fields attended the event; including all major multinationals, senior management from financial institutions working in Pakistan, and reps from new industries developing on CPEC.

Representatives from provincial and federal governments, the air force and army were also present to witness the launch of the first ever simulator products made in Pakistan by AK Aviation.

The ambassador himself started the first simulator made by Ocean Simulators, a subsidiary of AK Aviation.

A Pakistani company, which was not only Pakistan’s first but it is the first company to produce simulators in the sub-continent and the Middle East combined.

The CEO of TRC simulators, Mr. Hubert Roth signed a joint venture with Mr. Hassan Ahmed, CEO of Ocean Simulators, to seize their production to Pakistan.

Mr. Hassan Ahmed, Director AK group, explained how AK has developed their Fleet Management System which can be remotely managed by the palm of their hand through a custom-made app by AK Software Engineers. He is the only Pakistani and one of the 90 speakers invited from all around the world to Logistek DAG 2020 Conference being held in Arnhem, Netherlands on 12th February 2020 to represent Pakistan at the international logistic forum.

AK showcased its 13 companies including AK Transport, DAK, Best Traders, AK Fuel, HFS, RFS, AK Aviation, Ocean Simulators, International Aviation School, LAX (the airplane restaurant), SeraiRooms, Bikham and more in this event.

Another upcoming project of AK group is Serai Rooms which is a subsidiary of AKM Tech Evolution and is bringing thecountry’s first hotel tourism platform to Pakistan, starting from Lahore on 28th February 2020.

Among other projects, AK Group is about to build the biggest warehouse in the history of Pakistan.

The event showed an animated video clip showing how CEO of AK, Mr. Khushnood Ahmed, built this company to be one of the leading groups in the world.

Towards the end he signed a joint venture between AK Transport and DON Trucking to make DAK.

AK Group is hopeful that it will keep bringing new and exciting projects which would help bring Pakistan to the international forefront by growing economically.
