Restaurant Week — Now through Sunday, April 28, various Lake Geneva area eateries. Nearly 40 area restaurants will offer special menu choices at promotional prices during this event put together by Visit Lake Geneva. Customers who participate can also help decide which six local nonprofit organizations will receive a total of $10,000 from Tito’s Handmade Vodka. One nonprofit will receive a $5,000 donation, and five others will receive $1,000 each. Go to VisitLakeGeneva.com for more information.

Women’s Weekend Lake Geneva 2024 — Friday-Sunday, April 26-28, various Lake Geneva area locations. The Geneva Lake Women’s Association celebrates its 60th diamond anniversary with a three-day extravaganza. Murals In Motion — Wednesday-Sunday, May 15-19, various Lake Geneva locations. New event celebrating art, music and local history. Five murals will be painted and installed throughout downtown Lake Geneva during the event. Mural painting begins each day at 10 a.m. Other activities include gallery nights, live art recreated and acted out by theater and art departments from local schools, a paint-in with local artists, live music, a pop-up beer garden, yoga in the park, alleyway dinner and more. Wisconsin Cheese Festival — Friday-Sunday, May 17-19, Lake Geneva House of Music, N3241 County Road H, town of Geneva. A gathering of cheese makers, farmers, artisans and vendors to celebrate a love of cheese. Live music includes Jonny Lyons & the Pride, the Thompson Duo, the Box Band, Lucky Pickers, Cameron Webb, the Best Westerns, Lara Bell, Chicken Wire Empire, Miles Over Mountains, Tyler Lance Walker Gill and Chris Stapleton tribute act Tennessee Whiskey. The Big Wine Tasting for Matt Stinebrink — Thursday, April 25, 4-7 p.m., The Bottle Shop, 617 W. Main St., Lake Geneva. Fundraiser for Stinebrink, a Mr. Lake Geneva Pageant contestant. Yerkes Observatory Sci-Fi Series — Friday, April 26, 7-9:30 p.m., Yerkes Observatory, 373 W. Geneva St., Williams Bay. “A Ghost Story” is the next film to be shown in the series. There will be an introduction by Tours and Programs Assistant Dylan Kleinschmidt, a special note from “A Ghost Story” director David Lowery, fresh popcorn, Starry sodas and more. Tickets $25.
