J.P. Stevens remains undefeated at home with win over Edison - Girls lacrosse

Kristen Whitney had a big day on offense, scoring six goals and adding two assists as J.P. Stevens recorded a home victory, defeating Edison 9-7.

With the win, J.P. Stevens (2-2) improved to 2-0 at home in the early 2025 season, with both wins coming against opponents in the GMC White Division.

Whitney also played a large role on defense, leading all players with seven ground balls and 12 draw controls. Kamryn Bielinski added a pair of goals and assists for J.P. Stevens, while Khushi Patel saved 12 shots in net.

Jaeda Leon recorded a hat trick for Edison (1-4). Katherine Kovalchuk led the team with three ground balls.

J.P. Stevens will attempt to record its first road win of the season against Sayerville on Thursday morning. Edison will also play a road game on Thursday, traveling to match up against South Brunswick.
